I'd bet real American money they wouldn't have a problem regarding White House phone records from the present administration.... But they claim to be above bias and reproach. And so's Hillary.....

Well, Blogger finally let me back in - and I'm rantless.... OSU/Michigan was a helluva game yesterday - I know Woody and Bo watched at the Bear's place. Bet Woody got snarky...

Today is the first game in the two-game season known as the Browns-Steelers. Both teams are 3-6, so the mavens are telecasting the game only to 8% of the country. Their loss. The records of the teams are never an indicator of the quality of the games - a predicted close-fought game often turns into a rout and vice versa. Perfect day for it, too. Cold, windy, and rainy. Son is headed down to the game with one of his buds. Dad is staying home where it's warm.... Should be a good 'un.
UPDATE - The bloody offensive line collapsed again, the D was out-freakin'-standing and Cholly didn't throw no interceptions. The Browns lost in the last 3 minutes.... Too bad our draft gurus suck rox.

Republicans haven't learned from the 2006 election mess - they're actin' like the electorate wants more of the same ol' same ol'. Bela Pelosi had her nose pushed in - girl, the game has changed in the last 12 years. The NY/LA Times can't provide covering fire anymore - you'll be called to account for your actions, not the spin. Today in the mess hall, where there is usually jovial conversation, there was silence, long faces, and broken spirits… Everyone, to include all American soldiers, marines, sailors, airmen, Iraqi Nationals, Bulgarian Soldiers, etc, etc… was speechless, tired, demoralized and stunned…. all ate in erie silence…..
Last night, while we watched the press conference with the President, there was utter discust, and the common feeling amongst us all that we soldiers are now the loneliest people on Earth…. we fight an enemy over here, and we have a country full of enemies to go home to that are our countrymen. We watched President Bush say his own political funeral, our commander and chief.. as well as ours….. He tried so hard to spin it, but… well.. there is no way to soften such a morale blow.
While you sit and Monday morning quarterback what we work so hard to do for you out here, just know that the spirit of your team is wounded….. YOU liberals, you America have done a great job of demoralizing us… Thank you.
Do us a favor though, when we do come home, spare us the ceremony……. We all now know that it is a bunch of crap, and what you think of us…….
I have to say that right now, I would rather be a pussy ass Frenchman, even though they have no will to fight, at least they have the balls to make a decision and stick with it…… They stuck to thier guns about staying out of this war, even if it was the wrong decision……America on the other hand, goes off half cocked, and when the decision appears to be a hard one, or something that might cost a little bit, they turn tail and run…..

Well, it appears that Greybeard got his wish yesterday and we are now living in interesting times. For some reason I see more of Bela Pelosi screaming for impeachment than gridlock or Republican filibuster. The poor lads seem to have lost their 'nads. And Lord help W. if he tries to get a SCOTUS nominee through.... Bill Whittle gave me a lift with his optimism though - I hope he's right... He's a helluvan essayist - WELL worth the time to read.

Congratulations, Democrats. You won the mid-term election. Try to ensure there is something left for 2008....

If you don't have one, imagine Nancy Pelosi of Berkley (where Proposition H, a referendum on the impeachment of GWB, is on the ballot) as Speaker, Conyers as chairman of Ways and Means Committee, and Alcee Hastings, a judge that was impeached for bribery in the chairmanship of the Intelligence Oversight Committee. That last clown is part of a Pelosi deal with the Congressional Black Caucus to support her - the hell with America. All she gives a rat's ass about is power. So get out and vote if you haven't done it absentee.

I'm having a tough time not LMAO. Ketchup Boy managed to stomp all over his wedding tackle using golf spikes again. I could almost believe he was trying to make a joke about the President, but it's painfully obvious whose grades were higher... He couldn't even join Earth long enough to say "Sorry. That's not what I meant to say." Instead according to the American Gigolo, it's some kind of conservative plot to make him look bad.
