Sunday Schtuff #Whatever

Every time you think that the lib-rul azzoles have reached the bottom, somebody like the esteemed senator-on-sale-from-Nevada starts digging again. The sheer, unmitigated stupidity obvious in Reid's remarks and bloody well apparent to anyone who's worn a US uniform reflect the contempt for the military underlying the lib-rul philosophy that jackass-in-magic-underpants espouses. (But supposedly he and G'anma Nan are running the most ethical Congress evah.) Maybe a spell of studying American history and the Constitution would help with his failed reality check. But I doubt it. He, Nan, and Senator Carpetbagger only attend the siren call to power, be it fiscal or political. In the words of the Rifleman, "Bah". The only idea I've heard out of Nevada lately that appears to be worth a damn is the law that the legislature can only meet biennially for a maximum of 120 days. THAT may be an idea whose time has come...

I hear at Drudge that poverty pimp Sharpton has threatened to burn shut down the Big Apple because the cops shot a drunken clown (who'd tried to assault them with a motor vehicle) and they were acquitted. I'm not sure what protestors carrying signs with numbers to represent each round fired accomplishes but that's Al's platform. I wonder if he can get a special appearance by Tawana Brawley...

I see the Wall Street Journal has taken a page from the Grey(bag) Lady and decided that what this country needs to solve its problems is a constitutional amendment mandating open borders. WTF is wrong with those people? Do unicorns and fuzzy-bunnies in sunlit meadows gambol under rainbows on their planet where it's always 9-10-01? I wonder what their position would be if illegal aliens were being hired to write simplisme op-ed pieces. I would imagine it would make somewhat of a difference in their attitudes if it was the WSJ rice bowl being threatened rather than the little people union members'. Just an aside - how long are the farmers in irrigation-intensive California going to need illegal aliens migrant workers when the "voters" in the coastal cities are going to be demanding all the water be diverted to their use? Gitcher popcorn, the fight for water rights is just starting...

I may be back later this afternoon. Enjoy the day.
