Happy Honkin' New Year

A close look at the security theatre now playing at your local airport:
Today's system wastes a huge amount of time and money searching people who are not homicidal maniacs - and this is the incontrovertible fact behind all the arguments about "profiling." Not only are most passengers not bombers, but most passengers are linked to a mass of data, an electronic identity that makes it easy to confirm that they are unlikely suspects.
Read the whole bloody thing, please. Common sense is MIA under Hopey's "leadership".

On the PC-is-killing-America front, Yale has sissified itself like Harvard. What a surprise... Barnard gal looking for the raw material for calf fries would starve in the faculty lounges.

Too bad we can't use FOIA to see our personal Interpol files. And what's next. Why no hyperventilation from the lib-ruls? This EO makes the Patriot Act look like rules for nap-time in kiddy-garden. I wonder if DHS is gonna loan or give Interpol some of the 200 million .40 cal hollow-points they ordered from Winchester..... Just practicin' here, boss....

Have a safe and sane New Year's - and pray for us.
