In Memorium

I'm no bloody wordsmith - can hardly stitch two of 'em together and be understood. Many far more talented writers will blog about today's anniversary. Any efforts on my part will be little noted nor long remembered.
So instead I'm donning my Legion unie and headed to City Hall shortly. Got an honor guard to stand, volleys to fire, memories to recall. Think of those 2,997 some time today, as you live the day that they can't. And thank God for those rough men and women that stand between America and those who would destroy her from both within and without.
