New Sheriff In Town

As my friends and reader(s - maybe) know, Scarlett was taken from our family last year because of brain tumors that had destroyed her quality of life after about 19 years.  The Bosslady and I had discussed another rescue pup to keep Stew company, but nothing jumped out at us.  Until a gal at work stated that her friend was fostering a rescue and sent a picture of the dog to the Bosslady.
That was the straw.  A week ago Saturday the lady brought over a 1 to 2 year-old miniature dachshund named Annie.  Six-and-a-half-pounds of sound and fury have taken up residence in our once calm household.  Poor Stew still doesn't seem to know what happened.  She bullies him terribly, pushing him out of his spot on the ottoman and the Bosslady's side.  Look at the new photo on the sidebar (courtesy of the Bosslady) and welcome Annie.

She's a rescue AND a doxie? *SQUEE*
I think I fell a little more in love with you.

I know it's belated, but give the new pup a squeeze from me!
