The Constitutional Republic Died Today

The Seventeenth Amendment started the drift from the republic envisioned by the Founders.  It took a great chunk of power from the state legislatures.
Abuse of the commerce clause for the sheer control it gave the federal government fed the interior rot of the expression of the will of the people.
Then the Federal Reserve was established to control the money supply of the US.  As a privately owned-and-controlled regulator of the money supply, it fed the banking establishment at the expense of the middle and lower classes.
Then the ACA could force citizens - not illegal aliens - to buy products from non-public corporations or be penalized monetarily.  We were told that was legal by Steven's Supreme Court.
Today the Senate turned into a populist -driven House of Representatives without the power of the purse.  The "nuclear option" just removed the last chock on the slippery slope to fascism.  Now it is all about the "free stuff" and "What have you done for me lately?"  and the promises that will be made for votes.

As the Founders feared, we are now a democracy.  With terminal "heckler's veto" in both houses of Congress by both sides of the Uniparty./"global citizens"/PTB, Cloud People,.whatever.  We be screwed.

May you and yours be safe and healthy.

One nice silver lining to this, we get to shoot the bastards when it all collapses. We know their names and they have to come out of their super duper secret hidey holes eventually. We will have a long list of traitors and cucks and we will have a long, long memory......
