OPSEC, My Ass
Well, the Army has shut down Lt. G. Even told him to delete it. City Girl took it over. I'll keep her spot on the blogroll because I know he'll be back.
Well, I'm torn. I've enjoyed reading his stuff, but some of what I read questioned the mission and results. He's a Lieutenant, and in that capacity sees only a very small fraction of the big picture. He was on thin ice with some of his writing. Does he have a right to freedom of speech? As Veterans ourselves, we both know the answer to that one don't we? Let's just say I'm surprised it took this long for them to shut him down.
I agree. But it was nice having an unvarnished look at his troops outside the wire. He can question the mission but not his people's dedication. I still think he'll be back.
