Bitter - (Or) Not Bowed

Yes, Greybeard, I see what you're telling me about the (tip)toe-job SCOTUS did on the Jennie-poo suit. The fact that SCOTUS did not feel it necessary to ask for an investigation into (alleged) voter registration irregularities is what makes my heart heavy.
The fix is in.
Twelve bloody states are on the radar screen of the Feds due to the ACORN community organizers/activists' voter registration efforts.
Big whoop.

I did take some heart from - no, I didn't. Sux to be America and her citizens.

Can we invade Canada like the draft-dodgers? Nah. I'm staying here in Cleveburg until I'm retired (I know, good luck with that when Bambam wins!) but NZ is looking like a better choice for a country (except for taxes and unions and weapons).

Sux to be me.

As soon as I finish this comment I'm going to go re-read the Declaration of Independence, for motivation to write a post.
I'm now hearing one of the things in the works with the new filibuster-proof supermajority is an expansion of the number of Scotus justices from 9 to ???
(We need more diversity on the court, doncha know?)
This would allow the chosen one to appoint several new justices, and would effectively liberalize the court for the rest of the lives of all those now living.

Give me liberty or give me death.
I truly didn't think I'd ever consider taking up arms again.
I was wrong.
