As a public service, please read "Lies, Damn Lies, and Statistics" at today's NY Post. Then print it out and force everyone you meet to read it. Stuff it down the throat of your local fish-wrap writer. The author of the article does a quick job of examining some of the statistical fallacies and outright lies that the hysteria-mongers (ya, I'm lookin' at you, AlGore) use to attempt and succeed in swaying the sheep's opinions.
