Meh

Two items that have struck me:
If I were Fritz Henderson, the head of GM, I would see no alternative but to bite the Chapter 11 bullet. Considering the humiliation and hoops that SanFraNan and "Stinky" Reid would make the automaker jump through prior to closing the corporation's doors, I'd bet the corp that Chapter 11 would give GM a far better chance to survive than rolling over for the political azzoles' street theater. But first I'd convert 90% of my wealth to GM stock to prove I really meant to play "You Bet Your Ass". Otherwise, the chattering-class-known-as-Congress will demand actions that will destroy the Big 3 corporations with CAFE standards and union-inspired dictates that would be impossible to implement. After all, the congress critters have experience running lots of companies...
I am SHOCKED, I tell you shocked that the DFL has mysteriously discovered more uncounted votes in Minnesota. Pardon-the-HELL-out-of-me, but didn't the GOP learn a damn thing from the Gregoire theft-of-office? Obviously not...
