Dallas was a very interesting place to visit but I misdoubt that I could live there. We stayed right down by the art museum in a hotel that sold $2.50 Cokes and $20 breakfasts. Monday and Tuesday it was 80+ degrees, Wednesday and Thursday was 34+ degrees and raining with gusts up to 30 knots. Only made a difference when it was time to eat, as we spent all of our time in a windowless room listening and watching Powerpoints.
But Bryan's was good. Walked to the downtown location for lunch and had a po' boy of sliced brisket and jalapeno sausage. Damn good eatin'.
Dunno who first used the term, but Amateur Hour is indeed the best description of the way the administration has begun it's watch (as in, "Not on my watch"). CD's, Wednesday cocktails, red buttons, TurboTax Timmy, tax problems for most of his attempted appointees - this is indeed some prime time hijinks with the future of our country bet on their antics. Right now Hopey looks like an amalgam of US Grant and Mr Peanut - not a healthy mix for our grandchildren. But history will judge, not I.
Let the games continue.
