I see the Pope has sacked up and turned down Schlossberg as US rep to the Vatican. Good on him, glad to see there are a few men of conviction in positions of power....
Biden has moved from plagiarism to outright mendacious knavery (and Rove called him on it). Either that or Hopey McChange ordered the verbal pratfall as a matador's cape flourish whilst he finishes the field dressing of the American economy....
The bow to the little rich haji was not one of the high points of the Presidency. Lower than blowing chunks on the Nipponese PM, I'd think...
WRT the Horn of Africa, Hopey is probably going to offer the pirates a bailout.. er, ransom. Damn shame he doesn't have the moral fiber to send a rescue team after a man like Captain Phillips. But what do you expect from effete Ivy League lawyer-initiates who have never held a boomstick and worship at the Altar of Change? BTW - I notice none of them ever talk "on the record" - I'm guessing that they think covering their screw-ups will be easier when the truth catches up to them if the lies were unattributed (which the WaPo is abetting). Solipsistic horses' asses, the lot of them. I think the Colonel has the proper response to the problem - notice how this crap didn't start until Mild Bill cut-and-ran from Somalia?
UPDATE!! The go-code was given and when Capt. Phillips got loose again, the SEALs took advantage of it. Well done to all concerned from the bottom up.
Well, I now understand why Shrillary went to China so early. No, it's not because they refused to FedEx the checks and she had to pick them up in person. It was so she could study at the feet of the reigning champions on internet content control. I've got a very hinky feeling that the lib-ruls are going to try to make their cherished Fairness Doctrine stretch to cover internet content. This in addition to getting their little Bahny Fwank taxing paws all up in it. So listen for the whistle of incoming....
I see the Hopey administration is fighting to prevent military detainees in Afghanistan from having the right to file lawsuits for their release. Inside, Dubya has got to be laughing his ass off. Sure looked easy when he was in charge, eh Hopey?
Our local fishwrap the Pain Dealer has PULITZER-PRIZE-WINNING-COLUMNIST Connie Schultz's latest drivel today. As she is married to Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-Azzole), it should be no surprise that she has her head up her leftist ass. She pillories a banker that complained that he had worked hard for his bonus. Uncaring, she trots out the same tired "47 million without health care" lie, several quotes from an NGO dedicated to wealth redistribution, as well as proclaiming "Love that term: populist rage. What a fancy way to say the majority of working Americans are done being chumps at the hands of the privileged few." That may be the brightest statement that ever flowed from her word processor. But somehow I doubt she'll be downtown at Mall C April 15 from 1600-1800 (we are working Americans) for the Tea Party... Perhaps she is unaware that the mobs of Obamabots are not the working Americans. Of course, as the wife of a senator, she would not be one of the "privileged few". Constance, maybe y'all better be careful of what you wish for because you may get it. Education can be expensive, but it's always cheaper than ignorance.
Dear God, what has Eric Wedge done to the Tribe? 0-and-5? I'm pretty sure that the Indians won't go 0-and-162 this year, but considering the starting pitching, I'd re-sign Bob Feller if he could field his position...
Happy Easter, by the way, or Happy Passover, if that is your holiday.
The title? Five hundreth post....

Well, congrats are in order for your 500th...
Keep 'em coming.
The outcome off the coast of Somalia is better than we could have expected. Do you suppose President(?) Bozama will backpedal himself right into the reality dimension?
That gives me hope, for a change.
