Hoo-Boy Again

I do wish I could post daily, but I have no talent, only passion - not to mention the desire. Sucks to be me. On t'other hand, what I manage to post is the pure quill. Of course, then it also sucks to be me, because I ain't a lawyer or politician. Can't lie for popularity. Oh well. B'lieve I can live wit' dat. WYSIWYG.
The latest disturbance in my observation of America is Hopey's plan to cram the judiciary full of lib-ruls. If a Republican-dominated Congress had this bill introduced, the Dems would go even more ape-shit than they are now. The only thing that may save the Republic is Dems (read "lib-ruls") realizing that this tool belongs to the majority. Backlash is a long and hard fact of political life. There should be fear WRT the 2010 elections on the part of the lib-ruls. The orderly transfer of power in this country flows from losers to winners every 2 (or 6 in the Senate) years.

Said this before, so it's a re-peat or re-run: Repeal the 17th Amendment. Go back to a Senate that represents each of the states' interest instead of positioning themselves to be elected to the HMFIC slot. Oh, and legislate tort reform and clean electrical power from unicorn farts while you're at it. Ask Dennis Kuchinich how he wound up with a lovely English red-headed wife. Ask Mangini why the Browns suck so badly. Ask Wedge why he has no job. Pass a law that pi is equal to 3. These all bear the same relationship to possibility that Hopey's plan for Afghanistan does. Or I'madinnerjacket's tolerance for Jews.....
We are living in interesting times...
