If it wasn't for sports, Mike Rowe, and Guy Fieri, my TVs would be out the door. And I usually listen to the radio for the Indians (who suck this year, by the way) because I grew up listening to Jimmy Dudley (never mind, children. GArfield 1-2323 was well before your time). And Doug Dieken is calling the Browns on WMMS or WTAM, while the toob of boob stands muted to serve my instant replay viewing needs. Mike Rowe? I've had around 10 of the jobs he plays at on Dirty Jobs and did 'em for the paycheck, not the show. Impressed only by his stamina. Guy Fieri has the best job on the Food Network - everytime I watch D-Cubed* I feel like firing up my ride and headin' out to where the noshing is as great as it is shown on the show.
Dirty little secret - I've never watched Survivor or Lost or Johnny Carson or Jay Leno or Seinfeld or Desperate Housemonkeys or - you get the idea. (My guilty pleasure is CSI.) Haven't been to a movie theatre since I took my son to "Starship Troopers". So the entertainment industry's products have no real allure for me. The public library is my idea of a good time. So watching the broadcast "news" media beclown themselves as they self-destruct (I'm lookin' at YOU, Charlie Gibson) is amusing but unimportant. I can't get my knickers in a knot over the powers-that-be's attempt to mold the information flow to the American public. It seems to me to be a natural attempt by the hoodwinkers and their minions. The only disturbing thing seems to be the willingness to destroy the First (and Second, but that's another rant) Amendment by slowly grinding it to dust through oh-so-reasonable-sounding restrictions. Deconstruction on a retail level instead of wholesale demolition. Be ever watchful of that tactic, lest the days of the Fairness Doctrine darken our lives once more. I love my freedom of speech.
Come and Get It, Morons.

Well said my friend. But you and I know-
They know we're on to them.
They know we're getting prepared.
And it scares them so badly they're nearly incapacitated.
