Let's talk about the Ohio BMV. The L&T Wife sent checks for my car and my bike 2010 stickers on 3Sep. Come today, I realized the month was gone, and I had seen no lp stickers. I called the lovely state of Ohio after I'd checked the check status (neither yet cashed) and was informed I had to renew in person because three weeks was too short to process the terribly complicated sticker renewal. Upon arrival at the North Olmsted license bureau, I discovered that the state, in its infinite wisdom, had levied a $20 fine for tardiness starting today. For some reason, I felt that the $20 tariff/license was unfair. I'm told we will get a refund of the checks, but I'm a leetle cheesed off due to the $40.
