You Fair-Haired Sunzabitchez (and your mommas, too)

Got the mail today. It was an envelope from the Department of Public Safety, Bureau of Motor Vehicles. Enclosed were the uncashed checks for my 2009 bike and car renewal of license plates (stickers) and a letter that stated:
"..we are unable to process your application due to the following reason(s)"

YOUR LICENSE WAS RENEWED LOCALLY OR THROUGH OUR
INTERNET/ELECTRONIC PHONE SYSTEM. WE ARE RETURNING
YOUR CURRENT PAYMENT.

Well kiss my ass and chalk it up to an old fart being reminded that the government doesn't seem to care HOW they get our bucks as long as they can SPEND our bucks.

My bad. Listen and learn, weedhoppers..... The mistake I make shouldn't be your own. I own it.

This, of course, refers back to my 1Oct grief...

But the fo(u)rty bucks still chaps my ass. Even if I value my time @$25/hour, it'd cost me about $135 to contest the "fine" (aka tax) I paid. With not much more than a tinker's dam of a chance of recovering it.
Sucks to be me. But not as much as it does for some of our compadres at FOB Keating....
