Until I saw this on "Parkway Rest Stop" I hadn't heard of Delbert. Now I have. And despite not really caring for C&W, this tune pretty much encapsulates the forty years I've spent married to the Lovely and Talented Boss. EVERY time I've rolled a natural seven. So crank it up.... And envy the Old Man....

Back in the day when Imus was still on PMSNBC, he'd have Delbert on as a guest every now and then. Like you, I'm selective about my music and only a certain faction of Country/Rockabilly appeals to me.
But I can see myself sitting in Delbert's audience with friends and a few adult beverages on the table, can't you?
It's wonderful you and P have such a great relationship...
