Last week, the left quickly blamed the right for the national tragedy of a shooting spree by a madman who never watched Fox News, never listened to Rush Limbaugh and likely did not know who Sarah Palin is.
Fortunately, the American public rejected out of hand that idiotic notion that the right was responsible.
Rather than apologize, the left wants to change the tone of the political debate.
The left suddenly wants civil discourse.

Whack those little peckerheads harder, Don. The Wheel of Fortune Theory of Life is about to roll right through the liberal punks' Cheerios and splash milk all up on their pinko uniforms. Alice Cooper's title shall be our rallying cry.
No More Mister Nice Guy. Let the sniveling Koskids or tingly Matthews or the ever-sneering pantywaist Olberman start what the true reality-based adults will finish. And we won't hide behind the measured/parsed/nuanced/media-academia-enhanced bodyguard of lies that so smoothly facilitated the duping of the lib-rul electorate in 2008.
Just keep the lines of communication open. Keep the paddy-paws of the nanny state off of the 'net - or lose the struggle. Oh, and a personal message for the Nanny-in-Chief and the First Wookie:
