Attention Washington: You are not the center of the universe.
People will still breathe if at midnight the federal government ceases all non-essential — and hell, mots of the “essential” — agencies of the government.
In fact, shut the whole she-bang down until spending equals (or even falls below) revenues.
That is what people in local and state governments do.
This shutdown is an overblown sideshow aimed at re-electing Barack Obama.
The media outlets that go along with this are predictable because they helped elect him.
So speaketh Don Surber. Damn boy doesn't know the LSM has decreed the truth to be verboten....
