"Democrats put up signs. Republicans shoot back." That doesn't translate to the reality that I've witnessed over the last several years. It is the Democrats that burn the cities down with near impunity. It is the Democrats that invite people into the Capitol building and them arrest them and hold them in solitary confinement. It is the Democrats that show up at the houses of Supreme Court justices with knives and guns with the intent to assassinate them. It is Democrats that shoot at congressional baseball games sending elected officials to the hospitals.
I haven't seen Republicans do any of those things. If the right was as violent as the left -- let alone as violent as the left accuses them of being -- there are number of people that would have been assassinated by now. No. Republicans in general, and conservatives in particular believe in the system and don't actively try to abuse it. Republicans create memes. Republicans migh tissue a mean tweet. But for violence, it is a Democrat.
This blog is not concerned with what Charlton Heston referred to as "the tyranny of good manners" i.e., political correctness. If you don't like it, clear out. If you do like it, link it.
