In 1916, thew brought down balloons for a couple of dollars worth of fuel and lead. Today it's easily a half million per balloon (not including the cost of the weather balloons, etc. that the US government actually launched).
Half a mil just for the missile!
Cool 35 BILLION PER COPY for the plane that carried it all the way up there...
Sadly, the navy could have fired just one of their SM anti-air/sat missiles for about 200k, but that doesn't really help Raytheon very much....
