How y'all doin'?

LIVE! From the garden spot Camp Swampy! It's WEDNESDAY NIGHT LIVE.....
If any of y'all hunt or shoot for fun (or even just collect shootin'"arns"), I'm sure you are familiar with http://www.theothersideofkim.com/ and http://www.thedonovan.com/. As Benny Hill used to say: "You don't get many of those to the pound!". Both gentlemen are talented writers with a rock-solid American base (particularly the African-American, DuToit) and a collection of firearms that could cause shortness of breath in the viewers of said collections.
I'd also like to plug another fine blog written by a wobbly that was contemporaneous with me in 'Nam - http://pitchpull.blogspot.com/. Found him after he was my first commenter here - and he writes a fair schtick as I see it. 'Course the fact that we share a lot of attitudes helped my assessment of his writin'. Stop by Greybeard's hootch and see for yerself.
If ya give a rat's rectal storage area what I look like, go see the Acidman's blog here -http://gutrumbles.com/archives2/004045.php#004045. He's just out of rehab, the crusty ol' bastard, and needs some love (in a manly way, of course. Unless your toenails have red polish on 'em...). He's also funnier than a fart in church and as sharp as a sour orange screwdriver. Good read.

Oh yeah, RE: why the NY Jets are essential to my son's very existence....... On my 20th birthday (21Sep1970), I went on the first date with my wife while on special leave between my two tours in 'Nam. We went to Municipal Stadium and watched the Browns beat Joe Namath and the NY Jets in the first-ever Monday Night Football game.
If we'd never had a first date, he wouldn't exist... Now as to why the Catholic school system was the reason we had a first date, I'll cover that in a future post. (No, I was raised Dutch Reformed.... Try again, Bunkie...)
