Well, the Lame Stream Broadcast Media seems to think it doesn't need to accept advertisements that upset it. ABC affiliate KSTP in Minneapolis-St. Paul turned down a 60-second commercial funded by the Progress for America Voter Fund because it stated the ad "unfairly claimed that the media is misleading people about the lack of progress in the war". General Manager Rob Hubbard went on to claim "it may or may not be true for other media, but we know it's not true about us, which is why we wouldn't take those spots." DFL Party Chairman Brian Melendez called a news conference to call the ad "un-American, untruthful and a lie."
"Minnesota has a chance to take a stand against this misleading and untruthful propaganda," he said. Referring to controversial ads that ran during the last presidential race, he said, "Minnesota TV stations should pull this ad and send a message that we will not tolerate this kind of 'swift-boating' anymore."
BTW - What does "DFL" stand for? Surely not what I could imagine it stands for.....
Looks like Jill Edwards and Ashley Miller from the U of Washington have a job waiting for their little trust fund butts......
But there's hope. (H/T to the lovely Ms. Malkin.)
Whaddya think? Week, week-and-a-half more of hyperventilation over quail-hunting? Or can it be dragged all the way to the election this year? How much idiocy can the LSM purvey?
(Note: All questions are rhetorical.)
