Ya gotta admit, Blago is a very hard act to follow. I see Hopey McChange's spin specialists are up to several thousand rpm with the collusion of their butthole buddies in the LSM. The knowledge that "the internet is forever" seems to have escaped the notice of the revisionists, however.
And all "Colon-the-Republican" Powell can find to worry about is whether Rush Limbaugh is destroying the party. I used to have some respect for Powell, but between lying about his CIC and attacking Sarah, I've pretty much gotten over the respect part. Colon, asking you about the Republican party is like asking Kos about restraint or Hopey about NASCAR. All of you have mal(un)informed opinions that advance your agendas, but are worth pretty much nada. News flash, Colon, small-town values are all that separates the Constitution-based conservative wing from your cheerleading liberal friends. Unfortunately, we have no party yet. So take your stars and your "minorities must now be catered to" mindset and do a "Jumpin' Jim" Jeffords. Or muster your like-(weak-)minded friends and start your own party. But don't waste your time (and our patience) trying to convince us conservatives that the McCain-type panderer campaign is the wave of the future. The pendulum will swing - and you're pushing hard to the left. The entitlement coalition that you're desiring to build will crash this country like a Mustang with an 88 mm in the belly. So have a nice life inside the Beltway as an ornament on the Hopey Admin. Just leave us enough wealth and infrastructure to rebuild.
