Raccoon Story

If you wondered why the legacy American auto companies (LAAC) are so screwed, please look here. (Thanks, lovely Michelle. ) Some of my extended family are retirees or workers for LAAC and are very worried. I am guardedly optimistic if the bailout continues to be a non-starter. I fear that the Fresh Prez of Bill Ayres has a "changey" ex-Clinton staff that knows what markers are being called in by whom and are prepared to honor them - and will indeed
nationalize the LAAC pass the sellout destroy the American dollar loan the money to the "needy" UAW union leaders that control a LOT of campaign cash LAAC to save American jobs and the economy. Ain't it wonderful the right people are in charge?

'Bout the raccoon. It appears that sometime day before yesterday a 12-15 pound raccoon invaded our space. The Stew-man first spotted it next to the garage power outlet ~ 0545. He was investigating the new smells when I called him off. The 'coon was alive but seemed very lethargic. Yesterday it was seen in the Aztec Temple* over the fence but not in the water -but the dogs ignored it. The eyes glowed in the flashlight so I ignored it too.
This morning it was in the same place. With an inch of snow on it. So I cleaned up the carcass - end o' story.
